Richard Herrin

Untitled

Richard Herrin, seated at left. Controversially, Herrin was only convicted of manslaughter after bludgeoning Bonnie Garland to death in 1977. During his trial, he was supported by chaplains at Yale University, which may have contributed to his relatively light conviction.
