ADA Thomas Moore, Luis Resto, "Panama" Lewis, Judge Harold Rothwax

Boxer Luis Resto and his manager, Carlos "Panama" Lewis, illegally removed much of the padding in Resto's glove in order to beat his opponent, Billy Ray Collins Jr. Resto and Lewis were convicted of assault and conspiracy. Collins was beat so badly in the match that his boxing career ended, he lost much of his vision, and he died shortly after.
