Son of Walter Pollock who died in 1732; 1736 succ. his grandfather, Sir Robert Pollock,1st bt.; m. Anne Crawford, daughter of Rev. Cornelius Crawford of Jordanhill. The baronetage became extinct in 1785 after the death of their young daughter, Cornelia.
