Date of Decision: 1802
Abstract: In virtue of a decree issued in 1780, some teinds (The tenth part of annual produce of land) over the parish of Stow were created. In 1800, an evaluation of the land was conducted. As a result, the teinds were reduced and a new decree ruled the payment for the petitioner. Mr. Bothwich objected the decree, because in his opinion there was not enough evidence to support the reduction of the teind.
