We are a repository of textual and digital materials that support the study of legal history and the history of the UVA School of Law. Our holdings include legal manuscripts and papers of UVA Law alumni/ae and faculty, photographs, maps, a 14,000-volume rare book collection, and the Law School Archives. Our staff is actively engaged in researching and preserving the history of the UVA School of Law, and we are dedicated to innovative digital projects that make historical legal materials accessible to scholars and the public.
