Judge

Jury; 1982

Luis Marin appears before a jury. Marin was initially convicted of arson in the case of the Stouffer's Inn fire, in which 26 people died. There was no physical evidence linking Marin to the scene, and no witnesses testified that Marin started the fire, yet a jury convicted him of the crime. The judge, Lawrence N. Martin, set aside the verdict.
