Dr. Alan Watson, professor of Civil Law at Edinburgh University, Scotland and visiting professor at UVA Law, presented a lecture at Newcomb Hall on December 3, 1974.  Dr. Watson taught Roman Law and Jurisprudence the Fall semester.
