In 1982, it was reported that two masked men robbed a Sentry Armored Car Courier Company by cutting a hole in the roof and pointing a shotgun at the lone guard on duty. According to the account of the guard, Christos Potamitis, he was handcuffed to a stairway railing while the robbers stole $5.3 million. Potamitis was later convicted of conspiring with the robbers, who were Eddie and Steve Argitakos.
