Receipt dated 12 November 1850 confirming Henry Adams' payment of 50 pounds to Joseph Gates for the purchase of Gates' rights and title to Frogmore Street property that previously belonged to the late William Walker. The back of the receipt is signed by The Tompkins Trustee to the late William Walker and indicates that in buying the estate Adams also bought the reversion of Samuel West and children.
