Note signed by Benjamin Barber on 23 June 1868 promising to pay Thomas Grace £200 (with interest) upon Grace's demand for value of a loan. This appears to be the first of six such notes referenced in a document in this folder entitled "List of Securities Held by Thomas Grace for Money Lent to the Late Mr. Benjamin Barber."
