Ernie H. Lorch '57 poses in the middle of his basketball team, composed of youths from Harlem and other neighborhoods in New York City. Lorch had been running the basketball program, initiated by New York's Riverside Church and called the Riverside Hawks, for the past twenty-six years. Lorch was called "the Basketball Saint."
