Hassane Cissé, deputy general counsel, knowledge and research for World Bank, delivered the keynote address for "Crossing Borders: Rethinking International Development," a Feb. 24 symposium held at the University of Virginia School of Law. Cissé spoke on the nexus between governance and anti-corruption, and between human rights and development. The event was sponsored by the J.B. Moore Society of International Law and the Virginia Journal of International Law.
